is there a gas saving device (like a MDS) for pick-up trucks?

I have a 2005 dodge ram, I heard of a gas saving device that blows air in the fuel tank, anyone anything about it?
Ihave a 2005 Ram with the HEMI
only rams from 2006 and up have the MDS, is there anything close to that, that can be installed in any type of vehicles

Consumer reports did testing on alot of the "fuel saving" gadgets and none of them lived up.

where do I go to ask about fuel credit cards?

Pick a gas station (Sinclair, Shell, etc) and search for their credit card. It should lead you to their site and let you apply. If this does not work see if they have application pamphlets at the gas station.

It just depends on what gas station you typically by gas at. Most large chains have their own cards.

is there somebody who can tell how to make a homemade gas saving device?

There are so many gas saving device in the market now and so expensive. I hope we can make a home made one and cheaper the cost.

There is no bolt on product that you can buy or build that will improve the efficiency of your engine. What you can do is keep your air filter clean, regularly maintain your car, and possibly change your driving style.

I know of no gas saving devices on the market that actually work, if there were car manufacturers would have used them at some point. They are mostly fraudulent claims that take advantage of people who don’t have a large technical understanding of engines. This is supported by the EPA !

The EPA performs tests on these systems. Here is a list. None of them work, many of them reduce efficiency or can cause harm to your engine!

I can tell you right know, car manufacturers have already maximized the efficiency of their car engines for that specific car. The engine engineering teams CELEBRATE when they gain a 0.1% increase in efficiency! Engines are carefully designed to operate in certain conditions. Drastically changing these will reduce your efficiency or cause harm to your engine.

If my new employer provides car allowance AND a fuel card – what does it mean?

will i get my car allowence so i can cover car leasing costs AND a fuel card will cover my fuel costs OR car allowence is to cover all costs and a fuel card is just a tracking mechanism not additional money ?

The amount of the car allowance will be included in your W-1 for the year. The amount that you charge on the fuel card will also be included in your income.
The business use of the car is an employee business expense on your tax return. The drawback is that these expenses are an employee business expense and you only get a deduction to the extent that such expenses exceed 2% of your adjusted gross income for the year. Generally speaking you will find that there is not much if any tax benefit for the expenses while you are paying tax on the car allowance. This is called a non-accountable plan.
If your employer had an accountable plan they would reimburse you for the business use of the auto and not include it in your income. This is a little more work on their part but it usually is cheaper for the employee from a tax point of view.
