Americas Economic Feeding Tube, MADE IN CHINA

*BEWARE* Financial advisors that sell U.S. mutual funds and strive for 12% returns. Gasoline in the U.S. alone is up 12% in the last 30 days. Inflation is around 13%(shadowstats.com), so unless your saving account or stocks are beating that, you’re allowing the Federal Reserve to steal money from you.

The United States is Dependent on China. Americans have an artificial life style thanks to the Chinese. Over all, the average American is very poor, we just look rich because were able to borrow to consume. And just like it’s citizens, the United States has become a nation of debt and only appears wealthy thanks to its Chinese global consumption credit card.
The growth from 2002 to 2007 was artificial; it was dependent on endless home equity that poor Americans could constantly tap to consume. Again borrowing to consume is not real economic growth.

The gold Bubble!!!!!!!!!! Speculators have done enough damage. The commodity bubble!!!!!!! On the way folks !!!!! Lots of gold few buyers soon and lots of sellers!!!!!!! Don’ t trust speculators. Look If I knew how to become a millionaire I would not tell you. If I was infinitely ricjh maybe I might tell you. Be careful when buying commodities. Basic Supply and demand. If there is no demand it practically becomes worthless don’t speculate. Remember 1929 we all were rich and then suddenly poor

    Once we know the …
Once we know the prospect of the auto industry, things will change. OPEC announced cut back production and still fell. Life sucks for alot of people right now. I have been in the food and trucking industry since High School. I`ve seen many businesses swallowed up by Wal Mart. Internet shopping is killing local businesses too. Fight for state tax on web and catalog sales nationwide! I don`t know astrology. I just see a trend by gut or wishfull thinking. Most of all I have faith in our Joes.

Thanks, I need a little sunshine anyway!
Yeah, I own a running speciality shop in NYC.
My suppliers are flipping out in their own right. I,m trying to make payments and have seriously cut back inventory. I am holding on. I just don’t know for how long. Some one else said that by summer things will right themselves. Where are you getting you predictions from? My Friend is into Astrology. I don’t know about the stars, but it is funny that you said the same thing.
    Thanks.

    Not to blow …
Not to blow sunshine up your ass, but things will settle down alot by summer. Maintain a good relationship with your suppliers. You will find in these times loyalty is everything. Those who fold shop, switch companies or outsource in panic never get to see the other side. They just keep beeing or die out. Hang in there and good luck! Obama is not the devil or Bush. He`s what we got and let the man do his juju before damning him. He has a big fire to put out! It won`t happen overnight.

I am not saying you …
I am not saying you should do as I do, but, now, 7 months later, I see the beginning of the end of the US is almost in full bloom.
I own a retail business and to say it’s a “Blue, blue, Chirstmas, is an understatement. Even Youtube is shuting down channels and blocking users. I fear Obama will be a “Bush 3.0″ situation. Buy seeds and start planting in the spring.

    Oddly enough, I …
Oddly enough, I keep my cable so I can use my computer to it`s potential. The tv to me is entertainment, not education. I find myself having an unpopular opinion on just about everything by actually having my own thoughts on current issues. This China issue is in my face every day without having to turn on anything. I see it everywhere I go! It doesn`t take an Ivy league education to spot this disaster. Just go to the store! Exploiting cheap, communist labor is wrong and has consequences!

    Point taken. …
Point taken. However, the cars that are ending up in the junk yards are the generic, used up leases or 4 bangers. The American cars with any collector value are actually taken care of like any good car made anywhere. If you buy a car to “own” it, you take care of it and the wheels don`t fall off when you are Going down the road. People who lease are kicking themselves now cause their leases are up and most cant qualify for a new or extention. Most US cars have a 10 year, b2b warranty.

    American quality …
American quality and keep our countrymen employed and safe? You’re joking, right? It don’t matter if you buy American or import: America outsourced its jobs so you’re buying foreign without freedom of choice. Also, US companies KNOW the consumer not willing to pay for it, so they outsource to save costs. And like China, stuff made in the US isn’t built to last. US cars built from the ’80s up hit the scrapyard within 10 years.

BTW, did u red my other post to this video?

  16. Comment by oldphoque — October 30, 2009 @ 8:06 am

    You think …
You think disposable electronics, lead paint and dies and unregulated produce is on the ball? I will pay extra for quality and to keep our countrymen employed and safe. Our products subsided due to cost down. This is directly due to EXPLOITED communist cheap labor. There is nothing wrong with US made products. The problem is the consumer not willing to pay for it. Nothing made in China is built to last. You lose by having to make multiple purchases of the same item. We need to localize.

    China should never …
China should never have been “opened.” Mao should have been crushed by the U.N. Force in 1952; Mac should have been given carte blanche to obliterate the Red Chinese–using nukes. We gave them everything.

But we are too ‘yellow’ to take it back.

  18. Comment by oldphoque — October 30, 2009 @ 8:06 am

    China is …
China is communistst. All income passes thru government prior to the banks. There is no IRS however bad they are. You see who is getting stronger?

    Vision we have …
Vision we have 9million homes in subprime distress. Instead of paying cash say we borrow more from China etc and then payback in these properties- China needs land -homes- thats 9,000000 homes at $200,000 average each on low side. It will be a global integrated economy, we may have special Hong Kong type zones in US for the Chinese or outright Greencard + house in lieu of cash payment of debt- imagine that.
