How long does it take for asda to charge you for petrol?

Wednesday, November 16th, 2011

I filled up my car for the first time on Saturday at my local asda, entered all my card details, filled the fuel and then was told to drive away as there were no receipts available at that machine. However since checking my bank no money has been taken out. It has now been two days, I was under the impression it was taken out instantly. Any idea how long it usually takes?

Do I tell boss about father of co-worker arrested for fraud?

Saturday, November 12th, 2011

I happen to know for a fact that the father of someone I work with has been arrested for illegally using a company gas card to fuel up his car…and several others. I know this because I used to work at company “A” with the father, and now work at company “B” where his son is. Do I tell my boss about this? Because the son also uses a company gas card at company “B”. Or should I just leave it alone?

Are you supposed to report credit card rewards as other income on your taxes?

Friday, November 11th, 2011

For example, Citibank has a credit card called “Citi Dividend Platinum Select”. You get 1% cashback on all your purchases. Are you legally supposed to report the rewards you get back from this as income on your 1040? Even if it’s a small amount such as about $200?
