A fried of mine is going to trade in his 2002 Impala for a more fuel efficient car. It has to be GM because she has $3,000 in GM reward dollars from her credit card.
I did a little looking myself and the Chevy Aveo or Cobolt look pretty good.
Any other ideas?
Thanks.
Oh, and it has to have automatic transmission.
The Saturn Ion isn’t a bad choice. Otherwise the Chevy Aveo. They’re pretty much the two most fuel efficient vehicles that GM offers.
Other vehicles made by GM that get good HWY gas mileage are:
Chevy HHR, Chevy Malibu, Chevy Impala, Pontiac Grand Am, Pontiac Vibe, Pontiac Wave, Pontiac Sunfire, Pontiac Bonneville, Pontiac G6.

The Pontiac G6 has 34 MPG, and looks great:

The 2008 Impala gets 28 MPG:

also the Pontiac vibe with 36 MPG:

lastly, a Chevy Malibu with 34 MPG:

although I’d wait for the 2008 Malibu that is bigger, better and starts at 19,000:
